About Me…
Named after the famous colloseum in Rome.
The Flavian Amphitheatre Coloseum.
It was built by the Flavian emperors in 80 AD.
Flavio Testani, the cafe owner, was born in Italy just south of Rome in Frosinone. He came to Vancouver in 1967 and grew up in the east end just off Commercial drive.
Flavio brings over 25 years of experience to the Cafe. More than a decade with Hy’s Steakhouses, Umberto’s Il Giardino, The Century Plaza Hotel & Spa and even Tim Horton’s restaurants.
Fresh hand made sandwiches, espresso coffee, pizza, soups and delicious homemade sweets are available every day. Traditional pasta dishes are also available for lunch. Homemade Lasagna and Stuffed Cannelloni are very popular and always sell out.

Love the Website Flavio! We always enjoy the food and homemade desserts. Cheers!
